The Ravenheat Csi 85 Lpg expansion vessel is a product to handle the expansion of water in a boiler or hot water system due to increases in temperature. When water increases in temperature it expands, in particular when it is stored under pressure such as in a sealed heating system or an unvented hot water cylinder. Expansion tanks typically contain a cylinder or disc which is divided inside into two compartments separated with a rubber sheet, known as the diaphragm. Inside the expansion tanks there is water on one side of the diaphragm and air or an inert gas such as nitrogen under pressure on the other side. An air valve just like those found on bicycle and car tyres is typically provided around the air side to allow the unit to be re-pressurised., Ravenheat Expansion Vessel Are Available Next Day
