The Ravenheat Cs 80 expansion vessel is a unit to cope with the expansion of water in a home heating system or hot water system due to rises in temperature. When water rises in temperature this expands, particularly when it is kept under pressure such as in a sealed heating system or an unvented hot water cylinder. Expansion vessels typically contain a cylinder or disc which is divided inside into two compartments separated by a rubber sheet, known as the diaphragm. Inside the expansion vessels there is water on one side of the diaphragm and air or an inert gas such as nitrogen under pressure on the other side. An air valve comparable to those found on bike and car tyres is typically provided for the air side to allow the system to be re-pressurised., Ravenheat Expansion Vessel Can be Delivered Next Working Day
