The Main combination boilers and water heaters use a rubber diaphragm to trigger the domestic hot water by diverting the primary water circuit towards the plate heat exchanger. This allows hot water to the taps or perhaps shower. One side of the diaphragm is subject to indirect heat via the hot water in the primary circuit flowing through the hydraulic assembly. This design is common in combination boilers and other water heating system appliances. If a diaphragm has failed the boiler it will not switch easily between delivering water to the hot taps and providing central heating. In this instance it will need exchanging. Many heating engineers will recommend exchanging the entire hydraulic section assembly. This isn't necessary as the boiler manufacturer more often than not supply the specific part and the unit will function properly after the diaphragm is replaced., Main Diaphragms Can be Delivered Next Working Day
