The pcb is pre-programmed with routines to operate the boiler it was created for. Every action within a boiler is monitored carefully by the PCB. A network of wires and sensors throughout the appliance, transmit information and allow the pcb to utilise this in real time and react. Safety is paramount, so the PCB can shut down the appliance at a moments notice if it believes there is anything wrong.
