The printed circuit board acts as the brain of the appliance, pre-programmed with routines to safely run the appliance it was programmed for. Every action within a boiler is controlled, monitored and initiated by the PCB. Sensors connected by wires throughout the appliance, transmit information and allow the pcb to analyse and react. Safety is the highest priority, so the boiler can be shut down by the pcb at a moments notice if it believes there is anything wrong.
