Baxi Boiler PCBs are present in all modern day boilers, it's not uncommon for some to require two or even three to operate. The pcb is installed with routines to safely operate the boiler it was built for. Every action that takes place within the boiler is controlled, monitored and initiated by the PCB. Sensors connected by wires transmit data and allow the pcb to analyse and adjust accordingly. Safety is paramount, so the pcb can stop operation of the boiler at a moments notice if a safety concern is detected.
