This part is located within the printed circuit board section. PCBs are fitted in all domestic and commercial boilers, it's not uncommon for some to require primary and secondary pcbs for normal operation. The printed circuit board acts as the brain of the appliance, using pre-determined routines to operate the boiler it was built for. Every action that takes place within the boiler is controlled, monitored and initiated by the PCB. A network of wires and sensors pass information and make it possible for the pcb to analyse and adjust accordingly.
