The Ariston Microgenus 23 Mffi Ng - Mar 2004 combination boilers and water heaters make use of a rubber diaphragm to activate the domestic hot water by diverting the primary water circuit towards the plate heat exchanger. This supplies hot water to the taps or perhaps shower. One side on the diaphragm is subject to indirect heat via the hot water in the primary circuit flowing through the hydraulic set up. This design is common in combination boilers and other water heating appliances.
